painted the callipers and pad holders for my honda civic conversion after i sand blasted and primed them in the week

oh and took away some piles of snow so that the ground can thaw out and i can get the mini out and start to work on it

gave it 2 coats af autoglym radiant wax, polished the carbs and all of the other polished alloy/chrome under the bonnet, went to get a pizza in the other car.....ran out of petrol on the drive so i had to use the mini.....it started to rain and undid all of the work that i had done so i've got to do it all over agai today.....:-(

Washed it.... Then it started raining which left big dirty rain spots on it.. Then dad polished the rear of it to get rid of this white mark with a work rag and scratched all the boot O_O Its polished out a little now thank god.. But hey, never pleased with the rear of the car, it hasn't been any good since that b**ch smashed into the back of it :(

Technically yesterday, but I refitted the wind deflectors. Just a nice breeze now :lol:

Technically yesterday, but I refitted the wind deflectors. Just a nice breeze now :lol:

They do the job. I open the front windows about 2in, so still covered by the deflector, and also the rear windows. That gets a nice movement of air through the car that remains comfortable on the motorway without getting blasted in the side of the head.

Awesome thanks :) Yeah agree with you when your at cruising speed its get annoying having to close your window a little or turn up the radio more.

I do a 40 mile round commute, most of which is at NSL, and it's great to be able to cool down a bit! They let in a lot more air than just the air vents on the dash, and I don't turn up to a meeting looking like I've been stood in a gale :lol:

removed a snapped stud from new gearbox then painted it in high temp paint

Dropped my 1275 in with a little help from the wife! Very helpful thank you love. Started to fit the rest. Just the water and fuel pars to go on now.
