Fitted my new seatbelts and fixed my exhaust bracket.

thought id grease everything but ended up out of grease,
bought another tube for the gun then had no end of trouble getting the thing to work
finally got it working only to find it wouldnt let go of the grease nipple????
had to take the nipple off with the gun then fish it out the end of the gun
tried the next nipple for the same thing to happen.
gave up and threw the grease gun back in the boot
anyone recomend a decent grease gun this ones from hellfords and not been right from day one.

Drove her to work .... only to figure out that it would have been quicker to walk (but not as fun).

Started dismantling 3 spare cylinder heads, then got attacked by the valve springs, so going to get a proper spring compressor tomorrow/make a better one. Then I had an impulse to make myself a new dashboard and sort out the bodged wiring. Didn't get far on that before being distracted by cleaning a carb. So I started lots of things, finished none, and after a hard day in the garage, I now have more stuff to do than I started with. It was only supposed to be a quick engine refresh! Soon it'll be a whole rebuild! Good old minis!!

took it to get a petrol leak fixed and get the bonnet opened. once the bonnet was open it was simply a case of tightening a hose ..... the bonnet was tricky. we thought some kind person must have sat or leant on it ... or rested something fairly heavy on it!!!

after that .... took it for a nice drive out of portsmouth and along the top of portsdown hill (this won't mean a great deal unless you know the area .... but iyts nice!).

oh ... and got the steering wheel put on the right way round ... it was upside down!

Got it back on 4 wheels after 2 months! Mot on Wednesday, and I absolutely cannot wait!

started to take the roll cage out of my old car , till i broke my ratchet strap!!!

Replaced the toasted battery.... then went for a drive.

I screamed and swore at it.

Woke up.....topped up coolant as usual......left for work......broke down......got helped by a local......no sucess......gave up......stared desperatly at engine bay......notice loose cable on coil......felt like a dick......drove to work.

Then after work, replaced all connections on coil and cleaned garage.

got the front seats repaired ...... were in a bit of a state. now very comfy!
