cried as the garage found a rust hole that spread , the front panel sills and bulkhead all need *french clothing company*ed

Sorted out the angel eyes so they fit properly, thought/thinking about a mk1 'tashe grille or a set of spots/fogs, hmmmm, any suggestions?

Started to fit spots to the inset-lamp Cooper grille - the old grille fell apart after the winter - the salt corroded the rivets and the slats fell off. Also, received a new brake backplate through the post from MiniSport (thanks, Graham).

I fitted a Smiths 10000rpm rev counter complete with a Smiths pod :dontgetit:

Really pleased with it, it looks soooooooooooooo cool.

Then I had to fix my wipers :/ They worked yesterday! Re-did the mouldy relay connections, and away they went!

Today I ordered about £170 :ermm: of engine bearings, gaskets etc. and bedded in the valves

Took it to the retro show at Santa Pod then drove like a maniac home (all 10 minutes of the journey)

Watched my better half drive off in it about an hour ago ...

It's only managed to get 15 miles and it's just broken down. >:)


So - I've done nothing to it yet ... but if it doesn't behave .... :ermm:

I repaired the drivers door and fitted a new door skin to Paddy. He's getting there!!
