I removed all the old foam stuff from behind the dash and relined it with felt then brown leather. The wooden dash front is in the process of being restored. I think it looks just as good without it.

I drove mine, with 75 others, from Huntingdon to Hunstanton, got wet and cold whilst there, had fish & chips, and drove home.

Yesterday actually, full service of the wiper mechanism.Removed all the drive stuff, wheelboxes, cable, flared tubes etc, stripped the motor. Re-greased everything that was greased, managed to get some oil to the wheelbox bushes because they dont come apart, checked motor brushes.Got it all back in and works a treet. Guess what. Stopped raining now O_O

Yesterday when I got in I took hacksaw and a file to one of the brackets as I've had a couple of people on FB saying that it looked cack, and to be honest I agreed but could never be arsed to in bolt it and file etc but I have now done it....

Well I have spent the last two days fighting rusty bolts >_< I have cut and filthy hands, I've made very little progress in terms of actually stripping it all down. But today, with the help of my brother, hopefully the engine and subframe will fall from the shell. It looks like just a big heap of rust. I think the only salvageable items will be the engine components as the engine used to run perfectly. I hate myself for letting it get that way.

But when it all goes back together, I am coating absolutely everything in copper grease and hammerite.
