Finished my big service, made the horn work again, took out the battery and Waxoyled in the battery box, put 32 psi in all the tyres including the 2 spares and polished it with AutoGlym. Cleaned the screen and applied the RainEx.
Now it's ready for MoT the week after next and the Huntingdon to Hunstanton on the 29th.
Taking it for a blast tomorrow.

Replaced the top engine steady bushes. Another P.I.T.A job. Such little room in the Spi bay. Grrrrr....

Mounted the front panel, and it was a rather good fit considering it's only a non-gen panel :highfive:

Put some oil it and then went to W&P in Leatherhead and decided that they are an outstanding garage - albeit not cheap. Then realised that actually these might actually look a lot better than these on a white Mini. Decisions, decisions!

Intended to take the 'S' out, but Grandson arrived and so did his replacement radiator fan from Mini Spares and a new manifold to exhaust pipe gasket (it was blowing slightly) so we fixed that. Then it rained, so the 'S' stayed in today.

Tried to drive it to work,
phoned breakdown people,
picked it up from garage after repairs,
now glaring at it as it sits on the driveway looking all shiny and smart like it hasn't been naughty.

Cut out rust on the rear bench which the hole got bigger and ended up having to cut into the boot floor.
