Replaced the clutch slave cylinder

Today I drove my Mini out the garage, jacked it up and gave her wheels a little wobble.

Shes got a poorly wheel bearing

Knocked out my core plugs as the block is rustyish inside and needs cleaning !!!

Drove 7 miles each way to work and back with the vacuum pipe unplugged, whilst thinking "Hmm.. my Mini's making a funny noise today.."

Started to rebuild my carb.

Drove to work n back home......glad theres quite a few roundabouts to play with there n back

I put my speedo cable back in the gear box. I also cleaned the spare engine I had laying around.

Had a nightmare fitting my water temperature and oil pressure gauges. Spent about 4 hours trying to get them fitted and working. Worked for about 10 minutes and now the oil pressure gauge reads wrong and i dont know why??

Swopped the back suspension. Fit some gaz shocks and adjusta rides that have been sat in a box for three years. And ripped out some mouldy headlining!

re-built my engine and fitted 2 new rear cones and started a wheel refurb!

And ripped off the checkers from the roof to reveal the worse hand-painted roof ever

Kissed it and admired its stripped out interior after i spent a good afternoon doing it and then taking it for a drive with only a seat in the car and finding it being abit nipper

changed the master brake cylinder. and i have the knuckles to prove it (or rather, the lack of) my neck hurts from lying in the foot well like a contortionist.

Painted my engine and polished the grime off the gearbox.

Took out the starter motor and pumped up the tyres. Replacement starter motor being fitted after i've had something to eat
