Fitted a new water pump and replaced the split bypass hose with a kevlar one

Well I started stripping the front drum brakes. Very rusty indeed - I think I am going to look out for a set of discs now instead of waiting. Spent ages trying to undo the nut holding the drive flange in place, and even longer trying to get the damn flange off. After spending a considerable amount of time on it, my bother in law returns to inform me that actually he has a puller in the garage Took 5 mins then - and four of that was fixing the puller.

Now on the look out for all manner of bits. Why does a quick tidy up turn into near a full rebuild?!

I go and get the new engine and the seats tomorrow. And tomorrow evening will be placing a fairly large order for all kinds of bits. Should be a fun two weeks over Easter.

used my co tester to get it down from 13% to 3.8% bit more to go yet...
also found out my coburea seats with mini subframes i brought from ebay dont fit the mounting holes on the car so i need to get hold of some new seat subframes

new rear hubs back plate, hilos, shocks and pads both sides. well chuffed

Picked up a rear subframe plus extra bits that I won on flebay. Well chuffed. And can't beleave no else spotted it !

took the mini in to town to buy a new shutz gun and welding wire for my Mig!

Replaced both rear wheel bearings and fitted the hi-lo's

Drove it down to the petrol station, found somewhere where they hard some fuel cost me £27 to fill up, i was running low

Sorted out how to get it back from the garage while I can't drive

started po;ishing and painting my mambas and rocker cover.

All I managed today was to douse the very rusty looking engine steady bolts with WD40 so that they will hopefully not snap when I fit the adjustable one next week (its bugging me that I now have a mini with a fresh MOT, but I can't drive it because the stupid injection spec LCB/link pipe is nearly on the floor )

Fitted a stereo and speakers and realised very quickly that my speaker cable isn't going to be long enough, adapt and overcome = problem 'solved'.

Discovered an air leak in a hose and rectified that.
