Huey had to do some jobs today, moving paving slabs & chicken manure to the allotment. The builder next door was outraged that a classic car should be abused this way, as he put it. But Huey is a working boy and has the dents to prove it. It doesn't stop him being great fun to drive. Which I also did, the long way home after shedding the slabs.

Over the past few days... changed ball joints, bearings, washed, metal polished the shiney bits :) bled brakes, tweaked tick over and fueling nut, fixed horn back on atlast so it now works and got confused... Got a light that comes on when on tick over or not accelerating, thats tomorrows job :)

Mine did that at some traffic lights this morning, heard a twang and found myself somewhat lower down than before!

Will try and find another base at Malvern on the weekend.

Ran out of petrol on a small narrow hill going into a retail park. Wasn't much of a hill on the face of it but was a right buggerstard trying to push the car up it. Had a queue of cars behind me and thankfully one of the guys got out and helped me push it up and over the speed bumps. The guy told me he had a 3-wheeler years ago that cost £1.50 to fill up. £1.50!

Closest petty station was an hours walk there and back. There is a closer one but it's currently closed for renovation. :(
