I haven't done anything to it, other than buying a new house with a garage so it gets its own room :shades:

Changed the fan belt, adjusted the valves, painted the rocker cover and replaced the rotor arm and dizzy cap.

Fitted the fresh air hoses and bottom dash rail. Wired in the switch panel and then did some more wiring in the engine bay.

Spent two hours trying to get two bumpers off which are now in pieces. Washed a lot of crap off her and had a decent look over her. Everything is surprisingly solid where it needs to be.

Nothing planned tomorrow but monday will be looking at the brakes.

Washed and waxed. Washed the arches, inside the front wings, and the rear subframe. General hoover =] Cleaned up new brake drums for painting tomorrow. Took it out for an enthusiastic drive.

Took her on a little trip to Milton Keynes from Reading and picked up a roof rack, but it needs repainting. I would really like to get it chrome plated but think it might be a bit too expensive....

Er
Fitted stainless washers and nuts to bumpers!
Sat in it.
Started it.
Fitted a replacement spotlight lens.
Pondered on whether to fit my stainless twin washer jets, but didn't.
Then thought about what is the best replacement speakers to put in rear shelf without hacking bigger holes!

That's it!

Went to help a friend who is restoring a 1991 Cooper 1275. He has fitted a new loom, but it had a 'resistor wire' for the 9 volt coil, known as 'that effing pink wire'. So I by-passed it with a normal white ignition wire and fitted a 12 volt coil.
Then went on to do the wiring to the new Facit fuel pump under the boot floor including the fitting of a relay and a new 4-fuse auxiliary fuse box.
By co-incidence the car is my wife's old Mini which she had in the mid to late 90's.
