received my metro turbo 4 pots today £5 ebay bargain, stripped them and ready to get powder coated and rebuilt.

changed all the front subframe mounts for solid ones, drives much better now only took about three hours

Treated him to a new rotar arm and a dizzy cap Need to reseal the exhaust where it joins to the manifold after my cup of tea lol

snapped a socket trying to remove thermostat housing....

tried to track someone down near burton on trent to do my rubber cones!

i would but ive read it in the haynes manuel and you have to 'drift ' biys out

What did I do? I drove it bonnet straps could do with a looking into though

I fitted the bottom arms and tie rods. Painted brake servo and master cylinder. I also put the pads back in a front brake caliper and cleaned and painted the other one. Getting there slowly.

Treated max to a heavy duty stainless wiper kit from minispares (MSSK031) with all the nice shiney bits. He's all blinged up now

Just have to sort out the blocked washer fluid pipe
