Had our classic on the rolling road at Janspeed this morning, made 91.5bhp with 88ftlb of torque, so really happy with that. Last time the car was on the rollers was 4 years ago when I first hand the supercharger installed, made 93bhp, so hardly any loss over a 4 year period...

I've built a new inlet manifold with a tapered entry to the pipe work, difficult to tell with these pics.
I have plans at a later date to water cool a manifold see if this will help cool the charge temps, as I want to fit a 15% pulley..

Also what have you done with the the little bypass on the charge inlet?
And did you ever get round to making a couple more kits?

Sorry to drag this topic back up, but there's some beautiful fabrication gone into this,
Also what have you done with the the little bypass on the charge inlet?
And did you ever get round to making a couple more kits?
Thank you...
I'm not using the bypass valve on this system.
Yes I've made some kits for people..

Your really only going to use a bypass on a blow through system.

Why would you have one on a suck through and where would it go? Thought the diaphragms on bypass valves dont last too long with fuel passing through. Please enlighten me.Your really only going to use a bypass on a blow through system.Sorry to drag this topic back up, but there's some beautiful fabrication gone into this,

So did you blank it off or just leave it? Only because surely if it's open then the charger will draw in additional air from atmosphere rather than through the carb.... No?
