Thanks guys, yep, trying to get it as good as poss, have managed to work through a few small jobs over the last couple of weeks. Also gave it a bit of clean yesterday and came up quite well which is encouraging. Larry Web from PDQ came up to see the car yesterday and was very positive and is hopefully going to sort out the loom and fuel lines pretty soon so that's good. Some pics below:

Need to get a black top hose! Got the chain tensioner on yesterday, and the easy to fit top and bottom rad hoses, since previous posts Phil sorted the ali aaron rad and Scot oiler and zinc'd various parts. Sump's quite low! Want to try to do some kind of flat floor under the engine when it's all up and running.
Got the black fillet strip into the windscreen rubber (painful) and wing mirrors on couple of weeks back, mirrors were a bit of a do as had to take the lower rails out of the doors and the perpsex, bonded in as well, was totally in the way of the internal fixing - should have put the mirrors on first.
Need to sort the rear lights, aim is to get them 'frenched' in but will be a big bit of work and will all need repainted which is a bit of a pain, don't suppose anyone knows someone who could do this in Bucks/London area?
Cut out for diffuser just waiting for me to finish the mould and hopefully get Dave Kimberley to make it in grp or carbon
Phil did a top job on the overtaking mirror
Spent some time in the week getting the filler and filler pipe in, pretty pleased with it
Really pleased with the 3/4 lights from Pastics4Performance, they added the black edging which I think looks dead smart, just need to tidy up the adhesive which has squeezed through onto the surrounding paintwork
I'm almost certain I've taken the protection off these and have cleaned them three times but they're covered in marks - do people think they're just scratched, any ideas on how to sort this?
Need to take the wheels off to post some better pics of the rear suspension which looks good - real shame about the various areas of corrosion which I'll need to have a go at - hopefully won't need to get it all re-plated but not sure if there's another option?
Been trying to put the hoses on, can anyone help on where the 6mm diameter hose goes, connects to the tail in the middle of this picture and then round to the back of the engine somewhere? Where does the 13mm diameter hose run? Re. the oil filter and adaptor plate, probably a stupid question but presume you just run short lengths of hose between the two, or do these tie in with the above? Completely lost!
All the best,
Al

Thanks guys!
Thought I'd let everyone on here know that I'm planning to hit up the Ace Cafe London this Thursday, easy to get to by Tube and by car, just on North Circular. Looking forward to it, come and say hi.
Some of the pics Matt Woods took for Mini Mag below:

Did you make the inlet plenum or sourced it from elsewhere?
