I used to use those yellow ramps that are used to level out camper vans
just gives you that bit more clearance to get the jack under

Shame to read about the running problems. But that colour is divine.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Glad you like the colour, I think I should have gone a couple of shades darker but pretty happy with it.
So, first outing for the car is Ultimate Stance this Sunday in Telford, hope to see you there!

Hopefully those mods will help, need to alter the bite point on the clutch as well, fingers crossed.
Videos looked top class by the way.

Expansion tank should help. At least you won't be losing any water if it gets hot. High pressure rad cap, water wetter, 4:1 water/coolant and ducting to feed air to the rad all seem to keep temps steady on mine.

Many thanks, was a good weekend. Haven't weighed it yet, it's on the long list of things to do!
So thought I'd put up some pics up from the show, not everyone's cup of tea and not exactly what the car was built for but it was fun and very nice to be asked. It does make you realise just how dedicated some people are, some truly incredible builds. Even if you don't like the styling, I'd always recommend a visit.
Just as I arrived Andy Waller pitched up as well so was great to meet him and see what he'd achieved. Another level.
Lots of positive comments on the car, inspired to go bigger and better next year!
Also lucky enough to have Matt Woods come down to take pics of the car for Mini Mag, it was a perfect day and location worked out brilliantly, I've posted just one pic of that at the end.
