The ones I have seen all have a fabricated end plate, and a gear driven by the end of the crankhaft - like the one pictured below. This in-turn drives the oil scavenge pump via a belt. Presumably the OEM pressure pump is still used. Room would be tight on the promotive kit as obviously as the chain/diff is mounted this side of the engine.

Dud's mini looking superb:
Couple of vids here which are impressive:
Putting this up to push him into doing a full build thread(!), the development he's done must be the furthest anyone's taken the promo kit yet.

An r1 5pw doesn't need an dry sump on track in the mini, max you need is a baffle sump plate in combination with an accusump. And a sump plate with a slight overfill is enough with semi slicks, only if you are running slicks the accusump is needed.http://www.west-perf...y-sump-systems/

A friend with a caterham with r1 tested that extensively and his caterham creates way more g-forces in cornering then your mini ever will. You would need a huge amount of additional downforce+very wide slicks on the mini to be able to get close to his g-forces.
Later r1 from 2004 on need a dry sump but not the old constructions till 2004. R1 from 1999 till 2003 used extensively in kit cars (also track version so) over the last 10 years and there is a reason nobody developed a dry sump for it so far.

Loom is coming on, Paul Dobb is doing some top work:
Heart of it is this motogadget relay box, basically the fuse box but with full electronic control and no fuses!:

Keyless start with this other motogadget product, they've got some lovely stuff, the dash they do looks awesome but just so expensive!

Paul reckons he's about half way through so getting there!

Loom all done which is good news and being installed today, no feedback as yet though but hopefully that's also good news!
Pipe to extend air box also finished, hopefully will be up to see it all on the car soon, getting close!
Ben and Paul have worked their magic again.
