Really the minimum temp you want is around 20 degrees but I have sprayed it in slightly lower temps, If you are spraying in a garage then you should be worrying more about breathing as it contains cyanide. If you do spray it then using express hardener is the best for in garages.

my dads got all the proper masks and that as he used to spray cars in 2k before the regulations all changed. what would happen if you spray it like at air temp now which is about 13-14 deegrees?

I would never want to spray 2k unless the car is warm, otherwise it's a nightmare to get a nice finish and it takes ages to go off. You get speedy activator which makes it go off quicker in low temperatures, but the finish is always jammy.

2 pack contains isocyanate, not cyanide. Isocyanate can cause hypersensitivity pneumonitis as well as asthma among other things. People have even been known to drop dead from inhaling too much with no prior exposure. It's nasty stuff.

Personaly if its a full respray then I would wait until the weathers warmer, otherwise your taking a big risk and have to do the job again.

Hi Midridge,
Yes that is correct it doesn't actually list contents as canide but it contains xylenes which are poisonous and attack your nervous sytems etc just like cyanide does. Either way you really don't want to be breathing it in. ;D
