You can't see on the photo above, but the trailer has been lowered by machining down the trumpets.

A collection of old trumpets with knackered knuckles of some old rotters, got to get a rubber cone off for the trailers other machined down trumpet (visible with red end and new knuckle).



More progress tomorrow hopefully, when I'll get the base back together, and give the red bits a coat of black hammerite.

Just ordered a set of second hand gas shock adsorbers for the trailer, (bargain £16) hopefully they'll be here to go on by the weekend.



Other jobs for the weekend include getting that second rubber cone free for the Right hand wheel, and then popping the top back on to check new unladen and laden ride heights.

Seperated those other springs and trumpets, sharp wide bolster and a big hammer helped!
Picked the spring that matched the one already fitted, and put the other side together, so now the trailer chassis is all together and rolling again.

Dampers should arrive this weekend, so I'll put them on, then I have to give it a quick hammerite touch up and put the top back on.

Next week I hope to collect some more angle iron, and can start building the frame for the top - any ideas for hinges (mini bonnet hinges?) welcomed!

'PImped' (lowered) trailer, I took 1.5" out of it's ride height so it sits better - quite chuffed with the results.

Build has been disrupted by the weather for the last week, but I'm hoping to get back onto it next weekend by finishing the tub, and measuring up for the angle iron for the lid... So exciting...

Hubcaps arrived...



Lights and trim removed so i can finish the welding and then put the top coat of paint on.

I 'think' this is because they were on photobucket, and put up about 2 years ago... The most recent pictures are the interesting ones!

No idea, you'd have to dig through the back issues, or ask minimagazine themselves...
