
Nova Engines

hi guys n gals i have a nova gsi engine(1.6) and wondered if any one knows how and what i will need to do an exchange. if it is possible and if anyone has done one before ... is it worth it ? and biggest question is it expensive???

Take a look at the 16V mini forums; i am not saying this cannot be done, however why are you intent in using a vaux? The honda B16A2 / B18 engines have been fitted to many cars, and as such, the kits etc are becoming well developed. I'm not sure the size of the nova engine would fit?

vauxhaul engines work quite well as there is minimal mods needed, and if you've got a clubby, they drop straight in the hole so no major body mods to do like extending wings

thanks for the intell , can i be cheeky and ask you how much it cost you to do it ?
and i have the engine because ive had the nova since i crashed it a year ago and i have allways loved minis and just wondered if i could join the 2 to make a hellish little motor... cheers for the advice....
