Any Advice For Installing Mk1 Moustache?

I picked up a MK1 mustache to go with my mk1 grill already installed

Its looks alittle tricky and I dont want to drill any more holes than needed

ANyone got any advice for installing this baby?

screw the moustache to the grill then fix the lot to the car with grill buttons

I thought grill was affixed with grill buttons, but the mustache was attached to the body?

if you fix it to the grill it saves drilling into the mini

I just screwed it on to my car, even tho the grille is held on with buttons. just make sure it is central, and and as high up on the bonnet slam panel as it can go (up to level with the top of the panel in the centre. I believe that Minispares etc have a moustache that fits the later model body better, but I just used an old one I had lying about.

I also put the whiskers on mine, they were a bit awkward to fit, but complete the look. See my thread in my sig for photos of install.
