Yh, £23 each side plus getting them painted. At 16 years old, that's well over a weeks wages. Me is not a happy man :) Get refund and repin the originals is probably my best bet now

Just had an idea. If I knock the pin out, flip the floor mounted part 180' I wonder if this spot weld appears the other side. If it doesn't, then it'll clear the hinge and let it fold...

That's a good idea, the may just be assembled wrong in which case Somerford could let the manufacturer know.
