So after this it was time for a bit of a wash and polish and enjoy the shows until the end of 2009.

During which time it was on the TMF stand a couple of times.

So then it was time for winter and enjoy the fun in the snow. At which stage after being kindly given a set of 12" steels the Sportpack 13" got put to bed for the winter and the steeld got fitted with a set of Hankook M + S tyres which made driving to work in the snow a breeze and great fun. I loved driving past all the big cars especially the so called 4x4's in the snow filled lane whilst they struggled up the hill.

Then at the start of this month my wife treated me to a wonderful birthday present and the wee car took a trip to Blakehill Body Shop.
And the next set of pictures are thanks to Rob aka 'frog' on here. I have to say what a great guy and managed to squeeze the car in at very short notice which worked out with a business trip which meant I was not without the car for to long.
As you will see from the pictures there has been a few interesting repairs done by a previous owner not sure which one.

Before.

another before
And now the true state of the car becomes apparent.... Don't you just love previous owners who bodge repairs.

and they just keep getting better.

Now that all the rot has been exposed and removed then the repair could start.

Once all the repairs had been done it was time for some paint to get applied.

The mini now ready for the primer.
Edited to try and sort out the duplicate pictures. but no joy.
