as said before, any metal paint is useable, its all in the prep. i used hamerite blue and mixed it with hamerite white to get a baby blue. this has stayed on perfectly fine.

looks like i will be getting some black hammerite in the morning then
how many coats did you all use and did you use any clear coat or anything else i should think of

I painted the engine in the 25 with yellow hammerite getting on for 5 years ago now. It's dulled down slightly, but other than that is still as good as it was when i first painted it.
Plus i've also painted up the calipers with hammerite and even after over cooking a set of pads the pait is still on there.
