That looks really good from the back - well played.

The bootlid rubber is inside out - the seal section should point away from the opening.

This might help it shut easier, although it will give over time.

Unusual routing for your light wires too - they normally go along under the slam panel and then into the wings where the slam panel meats the inner wing - there is already an opening.  This keeps them higher up and out of the road spray etc.

For the rad bracket - there should be some little sleeves that fit into the grommets to make the hole nearer the size of the bolts (or there were special bolts with a larger diameter shoulder).

On your photo of the lamp wiring by the rad - what do the two captive nuts on the subframe hold? We didn't have those on UK cars.

Oh good call on the bootlid rubber, I'll definitely try that!

About the wire routing...oops. I figured it without any reference because I didn't have any picture of what it was originally. I'll see what I can do to reroute, and if it's worth it. I'm not worried too much about debris because this car will never even see the rain.

Rad bracket: I know, and it bothers me a bit, I'll fill the gap to bring the rad closer and center the holes

The two captive nuts you see hold towing point on each side. Don't know if it's factory or not, but I kept them (picture)

Those towing eyes look good - I'd suspect they are factory.

These are the sleeves:

Although if you know someone with a lather they'd be very easy to make.

I found a way to center the bolts with a small washer inside the bracket holes. It will do until the next parts order.

I changed the choke cable because the old one was really tired and someone pulled on it too far and it wouldn't go back in.

The new one has a stronger wire but the housing is really smaller, so it fits loose on the instrument panel hole. So I put a big washer behind it. It's not the fanciest solution but it's a solution.

I also tested the speedo with a drill and it works. But the mileage doesn't go up on the odometer...

New bases for the side mirrors. I thought I could get away with the plastic ones, but couldn't adjust the mirrors right. So I had to go with the bigger chrome ones. One thing I didn't knew is that the holes are not spaced equally. So I had to drill a 3rd hole in my paint. I plugged the redundant hole not to get water in it.

I bought a metal polish and I had lots of fun with it! The gas tank caps were really foggy and they came out mirror-like in no time

Also did both of the new-but-10 years-old stainless bumpers that had small cracks everywhere - all gone

And most of all, the steering wheel. It came out awesome but was so bad that it could benefit from another go later
