Just read through over the past few days. Quite the journey and kudos for doing it with the house move and growing family! Looks fab, the colour is great!

Thank you! Nice to know the thread is being read by others. Yes it's been hard, I chose the worst time of my life to do a full restoration. I'll probably cry like a baby when I drive it for the first time

That looks great - well done.
I'm going to be starting the full restoration of a 1985 Mayfair which will be shipped to Vancouver when it is one. It is my Grandson's car and he will be flying over to help me complete it prior to shipping, probably in August next.
It will be 1060 cc with a fully gas-flowed 295 head, flat-top pistons, 510 cam, twin HS2 carbs, etc. It will be a MK.1 lookalike with Mk.1 grille, rear lights, and 10" wheels/brakes.
Colour will be tartan red with O.E. white roof.

Finally connected the fuel tanks together and on the main line going to the front
