This is a mix of cleaned old pipes and new stuff too
The job is to recreate the piping routes going to the dash vents
Old pictures: oh god

I have to go from a 4'' diameter tube to a 3.5'' diameter to go in the front fan. Originally there was some sort of a joining steel bracket to to this, but it's in dust now
My new tubes

Luckily, I found this reducer at the local hardware store

Big diameter tube installed, with bracket on the inner wing holding it

And smaller diameter tube installed, going to the big fan

Clipped on the face vents just for fun. Now the heating/ventilation system is complete!

Why does it have that under bonnet fan ? is there no room for the normal one on a LHD mini ?
My LHD MPI mini have a normal one but it's plastic, two speeds and does sit a bit weird, low down because ot the massive bar for the brakes that run along the bulkhead.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't know! Winter maybe? One upside I can think of is that it can blow fresh air form outside to the right side dash vent.

Where did you get that foam ring from? I couldn't find it so I had to make my own.

Somerford Mini tells to buy the same ring as the dash vent to bulkhead ones. It fits but needs a little stretching

Got my old battery back, it still holds charge well after being forgotten for 10 years (!?!?). Anyway, it will be good to test electrical stuff.
