Something big happened! Mini is home at last! It will be much easier to work on it from now on

Hello.

I began repainting stuff and getting them back in the Mini. I refurbished the tail lights with new bulbs, screws and rubber gaskets.

Installed the handbrake lever, pedal box, steering and seats brackets.

Painted the inside of the rear bins, as they were dirty and green

Connected the handbrake, and it works!

Really nice day yesterday so I dragged the Mini outside!

I then installed the four fiberglass Sport pack arches

I sorted the rear loom and put it in place, as well with the third brake light

Don't forget you need the rubber pad underneath the handbrake cable where it goes through the body...

Yep, thanks I knew about this but I think it was out of stock when I made my order, so It's still on my list. For the moment I put two layers of electrical tape under the fairlead plate

I put the fuel tanks in. Still a bit of fiddling for the left strap to fit at the right place. I need a shorter bolt for the right side straps, too.
