The Oldest Surviving Mini?
Does anyone know where '434 NWL' is today?
Taffy, I made some enquiries on this Mini last year to the 1959 Mini Register but they have lost track of it, this is what I later found out:
While copying some old Mini TV clips to DVD I found this 1959 Morris Mini said to be a very early prototype and the oldest Morris Mini, being sold by its original owner Bernard Ferriman who worked for & bought it off BMC in 1962. (the tv clip was from late 1980's, early 90's Breakfast TV)
I found it has not been taxed since 1988 on the DVLA website and it came up on a search in these 1998/9 classic car auctions.

Maybe that is a trend that we could all follow - have two sets on to honor the old guy.
