Also, Love and Other Disasters.
Brittany Murphy's character drives a silver Mini with a black roof.
The mini came out probably 4-5 times in the movie.

How do you know it was the Mini from that Cliff Richard film, because it bore his characters name personal number-plate 'Tim'. Be good to know if it still exists though?

Yes it belonged to Marty Hopkirk and then his wife Jeannie drove it in most episodes after he become deceased and the helpful ghost.

It survives today and I can remember Mini World Magazine doing a feature on it once.

It's not in the naff first Americanised film.

But his Mini does appear in the excellent 'Mr Beans Holiday' film and whilst he's abroad he hooks up with a very nice girl who drives a gorgeous Mini.

No they don't blow the Mini up in Shallow Grave. They just dump the Opel Manta which was owned be the dead gangster who leaves all that cash for them to find.

That was 'Mutiny On The Buses', or the film version of 'On The Buses'.

I can't watch Mr Beans getting crushed by that tank.

Yes, although I didn't really watch it back when it first got shown in 1984 and we didn't have SKY TV when it got repeated on UKGold in 1992. But I've managed to get a copy of the series now and here's the final bit with the Mini: -

I just wished they'd picked someone who could actually sing that bloody theme tune though.

;) <_<
