Okay so was getting a few problems with the car so decided to do a few things to it.
Had the head skimmed from George Brown & Sons Engineering, fairly happy with the work/turnaround. The valves are also getting reground in:

Painted the head + block:
Also replacing Lambda sensor, vacuum pipes, HT leads, oil, filter etc. And going to refurb the coil and a few other bits and pieces.
