I have had both, and to drive on feel much the same. My Spax dampers you adjusted with a screwdriver, Gaz have a knob, however the Spax ones were a good few years ago.

Both are very good, and with other mods make my car(s) handle very well.

The Protec from huddersfield are excellent. Ali so no red rusty steel after the winter and they are rebuildable. We visited the factory were they are made to get a set for our Pro ET drag racing car. The guys custom made a set to suit the application. Could not do enough to help us out.

Having been to see them, it appears they supply a lot of motorsport applications.

I vote Gaz, my gaz shocks have lasted longer and still appear to be in a better condition that the spax were by the time they were this old.
