apart from electrics my mate keeps on letting me down
if he cant do it i will have to do it my self wish me luck?
the rocker top is painted in red but due to the flash it looks like orange oh dear!
this is a mock up of dash in ally once it is running im going to change it and make it
out of carbon fibre
this is my new boot badge we have made at work out of ally and engraved its about 4mm
thick,150mm,50mm (thanks to my mate luke) my be possible to make similar to order

As I have just posted on BigChief's thread I believe you conversion and install is one to aspire to and I note the comments on both threads about the woos of cutting the bulkhead.
As you have done so are there any signs you may have weakened the car at all and would you do the same again if you started another conversion.
Like you I am looking for a cheap conversion which gives me an easier ride as possible but at the end of it a cheap to run but fun mini. So I suppose the route you have taken is the cheapest way around the conversion, as it looks that bike carbs or any other carb solution is not simple at all and looks to be costly which puts it out of my range.
Did you strength the bulkhead internally (engine bay or inside the cabin) after you cut it at all, I am not sure you can just interested to know ?

i would have had a 1.3 but could not find one so went for a 1lyou have made a fantastic job. i am looking for a donor micra, not sure whether to buy the 1ltr or the 1.3ltr.

the only thing that is putting me of is the subframe, big chief made it look easy but our gearboxes are different.

yes mat i wish it was easy. i tryed to do what BIGCHIEF done but could not do it so i had to make myyes i agree can't seem to find a 1.3 but yes there are loads of 1.0. so might just get a 1.0.
