Iv decided to roller paint my car now as opposed to the rattle can job that i was going to do. Nt sure when probs over the summer but i think iv decided on something like Henly blue with a black roof :)
doin it this way will save me loads of money an by the looks of some other roller painted minis will look better than the rattle can job i did on the boot lol

cheers

im gona be ordering my paint soon from avenue coatings and was just wondering wether it was worth geting them to mix the real mini colour that i want(Electric blue JSA (BLVC997)) or just get the RAL equivalent which is closest. i think RAL 5015 is quite similar. what do people think?

also another issue that would effect this decision is insurance as my car now is declared as a 'perlesent non standard respray' so im assuming that my premimum will go down a little bit due to the new colour not being perlesent any more but does anyone no if for it to not be a 'non standard respray' any more does it hav 2 go back to its original colour (orange i think) or just a standard mini colour?

thanks in advance

Did you take that rust right back to bare metal, and then prime it before you put filler on?

If you didn't, then you need to. Trust me, it'll come back you bite you in the arse.
