Thank you Darkscamp Sir. One question - how does the drain/fan switch attatch? Mine needs the fan switch as it has the additional fan in the passenger wing and none of these rads have the same attatchment that will accept this...

you will need a switch like one of these Clicky, which screws into the front corner of the rad i linked to. i have one of these exact switches in my spares box, but unfortunately i still havent tried screwing it in yet to see if the minispares switch fits the thread size, due to my electric fan shedding a blade last year at the uttoxeter show

if i get chance this week, i'll give it a trial fit if you like.

if it isnt the right size then the correct one would easily be availiable from most radiator specialists.

Now why oh why didnt that come up when I searched for it? I swear the Mini Spares website has mood swings LOL!

Would be good if you could do a little trial fit mate. Would defo like to order one of those Rads ASAP.

I brought one of these a couple of weeks ago as my turbo engine was running a bit hot with my minispares supercool 2 core rad and i must say i am very pleased with it.

The welds on my rad look extremely good compaired to some of the others i have seen, i might have been lucky or they might have changed welders.

The cooling of the rad is amazing, my minispares 2core ran at 3/4 on my gauge but the alloy rad had brought it down to 1/2 and if i take of for a hard blast the temp will rist to just below 3/4 but will returns to 1/2 again with in about a minute, so its radiating the head alot quicker than the minispares rad.

Thats just my experience with them, but i would most defonately recomment them to anyone having cooling problems.

Just bought this: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I was hoping to get one from the seller darkscamp recommended but seen as they aren't selling at the moment this looks basically identical to me?
Surprised nobody has uploaded pictures of these radiators fitted, so when mine turns up I will get some posted ;)

Have had one of these Chinese rads up until the other week.

Worked well but rad cap was poor. Engine boiled over far too easily. No easy replacement that I could find either.

Now got a 4 Core MiniSpares rad.

Personally having recently had both I would stick with standard or buy a proper £200 one.

I've got one of these chinese ally rads fitted, and down here in Australia with 40 degree days, it's made a huge difference to my old radiator. To get the tanks taken off and the core cleaned on my old rad would have cost about the same as one of these ally rads. No problems with leaky caps or bad welding!

Old rad would go up to 3/4 while cruising, almost full while stopped (in 35-40 degree celsius heat mind you!)
New rad sits at 1/2 while cruising, slowly up to 3/4 while stopped at lights (same temperature conditions)
In the colder months, it never goes above 1/2 way on the gauge.

I don't really understand the temp problems some of you guys are having in the UK! If you need a super efficient radiator with your cooler ambient temps I would suspect problems elsewhere (timing, fuel mixture)... unless of course it's a 1410 stroker or something!

Oh, by the way, copper has better heat transferring properties than aluminium. The ally rads are just cheaper, look nicer, and are lighter! There really is no reason why an ally rad should cool better than a well sorted 2-core copper radiator.
