All i know is that it had an engine change in 1995 and it doesn't state what size was put back in, and it was a bit funny the engine plate was removed as there was no need for that lol

I have recently been grinding and wire brushing the old girl, in preperation for the welding that is to commence on the 10th, this is the second attempt due to a faulty welder but that does not stop us!!!!
Whilst cutting out the Rot we discovered that the hinge panel we originally thought had rotted was in fact solid, the panels that had rotted was the cover A panels, by this i mean the panel on the inside that connects to the lower dash rail, and the panel that is part of the door frame on the hinge side (if this all makes sense) anyway, what we had discovered is a very genious welder some years ago thought they would repair her and had the welder so hot blasted holes in her and caused more damage than what was originally there, so now having to repair the *male chicken* up!!! lol
The panels to be replaced are the following:
- Driver side flitch
- Both A panels
- Passenger Outer sill
- Both inner sills
- Both corner rear valance
- Both seam covers
- Inner A post panel
- few plates in places
During last weekened i have been preping for the welding and where the rear driver corner has clearly had some damage made by someone probably driving into the back of her, anyway i have cleaned down the metal, removed the filler which a previous garage has added by the inches, and reshaped the back corner as much as possible and where the metal has split lined it back up ready to be rewelded. Of course i will have to smooth her over with some filler but not inches which is what was taken of!!!!!
I have now also removed all windows and seals, the side windows was somewhat of a B**** to remove lol the seals were well and truly gone to say the least, my guess the originals lol We also discovered that the front windscreen seal had been pumped with filler and was where some of the water was coming in, here's the area that the water was coming in:
And finally, MY SPECIALLY MADE LAMBO GREEN SILICONE HOSES ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check them out, what you guys recon?

In theory welding should commence on Saturday and hopefully be all complete, due to the hinges being so stuck on there and no other possible way of removing the nuts it has resulted in them being grinded of lol but not to fear new ones shall be ordered lol
Both myself and Paul (the welder/family member lol) had a long chat last weekend about the work to be done, the rear corner that has had a rather large bash in we are going to straighten back out as much as possible, by removing the driver side rear corner valance it should give us enough access to pull the rear end out, as now we have noticed the bottom lip where the door should line up to doesnt on the driver side, i will try and get images to show you guys.
More pictures to be added later tonight (I hope)
