How full should the clutch master cylinder be? Verto if it maters.

If it's low, will a top-up need a bleed to make any difference?

Couldn't tell you about the level of fluid needed as I'm not sure if Verto master cylinders are different to non-verto, but topping the cylinder up does not need a bleed unless the fluid is so low that air could enter the piping.

Fill upto the top but not including the neck, as above if its seriously low then it will need bleeding.

Get another set of hands to make it easier and bleed it anyway as I'm not sure how much the fluid drops when pedal is pressed so yours could be sucking in air if it was quite low. Best to be on the safe side, top up and bleed as its easy to do.
