Hi, I am moving from Kent to Swindon at the end of March. Having been v slack in joining a club this end of the world, I am keen to join one once I have moved. When and where is your next meeting? Can I join?

Hi Mate,

Next meet is the 1st of Feb at the Kingsdown in Stratton, Swindon. Meet time is normally 8pm.

Postcode of the pub is SN2 7PE.

Just look for a guy with really big hair.


New members are always welcome, and the topic of discussion for the next meet is what events/shows we would like to attend as a club. So have a think and bring along your suggestions.

Oops...maybe I was a little pre-emptive. Won't be in Swindon until end of March/early April. Just looking fwd to the move I guess. Maybe I should get back in touch closer to the time...

Well in that case, all the meets are the same time the 1st monday of every month. See you in a couple of months.

Good luck with your move and as Bobogib said you are more than welcome to come to a meeting, I have recently joined and it is a great bunch of guys. The more the merrier.

Look forward to meeting you the first monday after you move over west.

Just in case you are fully moved in the April Meeting will be on Tuesday 6th April due to the bank holiday. Alan ans the rest of the club shall be there.

Welcome to swindon. The postcode is SN2 7PE. it is on the cross roads opposite corner to the Arkells Brewery. There is parking along the side or across the road. See you at the next meeting.

Just remebered to quote the meeting minutes 'Date of next meeting:- Monday 10 May 8pm at the Kingsdown (due to the bank holiday and half the club being in Newquay).'

'Events this month:-
None in April.
1 – 3 May Riveira Run. Alan, Neil, Martin & co. all attending for the week. If you wish to attend part of the event, then meet at Lydiard Hilton at 8 – 8.30 am. Meet at Lee Delamere 9.30ish, then lunch at Bristol services & return (for those not going all the way).

16 May London to Brighton. Meeting at Membury services 8.30am to go to Brighton.'
