hello.
i have just bought a 4xv r1 engine to do a front bike conversion, just wondering what kind of MPG you lot are getting from your conversion.
i was chatting to a mate who have a new 600cc yamaha, he gets about 40 mpg, the bike weighs just over 200kg
but for a mini!!!!!
bigger engine, 3 times more weight, and more drag as its a car, so the mpg will not be good.

Worked mine out once on a journey from Oxford to Northampton and back, carb'd R1 engine, car 460Kg, was around 40mpg and that was with a few decent blasts to 12,000rpm on way back from rolling road (plus about an hour on rollers going to full chat)
