Is your heater switch panel looking a bit lived in? scratched, bit bent ? scruffy ?

well now you add peel off that old nasty cover plate and fit a new one - you've never been able to do this before as the replacements are rigid and wont go over the bonded knob on the sliding lever.


very scruffy and bent old cover plate.


pull the nasty old one off


clean up the back section - even give it a lick of paint if you feel like it


pop on your new 'flexible' finisher


peel off just the first bit of backing paper


align it best you can and stick down the first 10mm or so


peel the rest of the backing papaer away - it'll rip as it goes past the sliding lever


and why not add a splash of colour whilst you're at it ??

i should have the money to pay for the panda one by then. could you make me a mockup of the heater one with the same design. probably best without the enjoi wrote on tho.

I like that,a good finishing touch.My only criticism would be the edges on the old plate are rounded off and yours are cut sharp.It makes it look like an add on IMO. Good job

fair point - I think the next step for these is to have the clear resin applied - make them look a bit more up market, in this application they would have to have rounded corners, also on the sliding lever slot,

I'll try a couple this afternoon and see how it looks.

yes - twin speed is available too - I think its maybe bad camera / poor light - they're pretty black. I think if I do them with the resin they'll look better, darker and neater.
