I do not recognize the button. My A/C has only two rotary switches for blower speed and temperature setting built into the dash. The wire seems to be of a heavy gauge. Could it be for extra lights?

I will take the grille off and have a look tommorow.

Does anyone know where i can find the component diagrams for the aircon system? I found some last week on a website which showed diagrams similar to Somerford Mini but i cant find it now!
