i was thinking of fitting this kit.

has your mini a rover alarm or anything or would that affect the locking???

my mini does have an alarm, but its not affected in any sort of way.

Would love some pictures of the install too, if the linkages are easy enough to bodge together I'd love to get the ebay kit

I presume you can still use your door key and open/close the door from the inside too, with the central locking? And has anyone had a go at adding the boot into the system?

£14 kit if we knew we could easily bodge up the rods and make it go !

Still a bargain compared to the Mini specialist ones :thumbsup:

i brought that earlier this week

fitting it on saturday, it comes with the brackets and instructions for fitting (including a little diode to stop a theive potentially unlocking it by shorting the indicator connectors) and templates for drilling the door to mount everything.
