The wide bodykit as on the Yellow Mini is called FORTEC.
Not sure who makes/made it.

http://www.autofashi...ni_products.htm

Autofashion make the fortec kit plus many more.

However I have got a power bulge fibreglass bonnet from them and it doesn't simply need a bit of trimming to fit. It isn't even close to being the right shape because it's too small so I can't even tweak it to fit properly.

Was considering the fortec kit for the future though because they have done a lot of development with it. Front arch, side skirt and rear arch are now all one piece so will be stronger and look flush and blended. Will probably be easier to fit as well.

Anyone else some fibreglass stuff from them? Pleased or *Drunk or yellow human water* off? Opinions would be appreciated.

they look like mini miglia arches, available from curly spcialised mouldings, he does them in carbon or fibreglass, and i think the fibreglass ones are about £40
anyway, there are prices on his website.
hope this helps.

I really like the fortech kit. It was developed by a company in the states for racing. The site below gives a little history on its development. You can get the original kit from them, but seems pointless shipping over seas.

I've heard some nightmare stories with regards to autofashion.

You could speak to some classic car garage. Many of them have to re-produce panels for cars that are simply not availble anymore. So they should have no probs making metal arches for you, or even the whole panels.

Have looked at the Fortech kit and I like it, those cars have the floor at the same hieght I want to make my car, level at the bottum of the door line. I'm going to build the chassis etc first, so will have the wheels sticking out, then will decide what kind of arches etc I want.
Have had an Idea to do a DTM Style body kit in Ally, have bought a TIG welder so forming the ally sould not be a problem, but if I go off the idea the the Fortech kit may be a fall back chioce.

PS have been told about a 1680cc Turbo Busa drag motor today that's for sale....
This is getting silly, but I have to go and have a look.
