how about making an oven outta one of these bad boys

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item3a56ae44f9

so you have the burner bit a the bottom and then a lil way up you have a bit were you put food that is sealed from the rest of it with a lil gap up the back for the smoke and obviously a chimney

Might not work outside in the cold, the chimney should really be protected from the cold to encourage the fire to 'draw', worth a try though.
Hows about chimney running inside oven

Might have to cut it in half to do that and then weld back together. Have a look on the net about afterburner mods, praps you could place the oven so as it would be usefull as an afterburner plate.
These things burn at 700 degrees when they get going, mine glows cherry red round the door area when its roaring on full bore.

does you city have a freecycle forum set up? Im in Sheffield, and sometimes see gas bottles on the `freecycle` forum up for grabs.

cutting the door.
WARNING - even though i purged the contents by filling the bottle with water (this was before i cut the top hole by the way) by the time i got round to cutting the door the bottle was full of gas vapour again. I dropped a match in to check and im glad i did!! Gas is more dense than air so will sit in a container even if its open. TAKE CARE WHEN CUTTING ANY FUEL TANK OR GAS BOTTLE.

burning the paint off before moving inside.
