If you buy something on line you are covered by the Distance selling regulations which means if the goods are not what you want the seller has to refund the cost plus postage you pay (not the return postage) if you request this refund within 7 days of delivery. (note: the request has to be within 7 days, not goods returned).
I orders some wheel arches that were not the width advertised so I asked for a refund and sent back the arches.
I was refunded the cost of arches but not the postage cost (£11 approx). I emailed them and asked for this to be refunded, and recieved a rude reply saying that they only refund if goods are faulty and that also the goods have to be returned to them within 7 days of them sending out (not true).
I have now emailed them several times (and given them links to the relevant law which tells them of their obligations) and they haven't had the courtesy to reply.
I would never recommend them to anyone. The are breaking the law and are the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with.

I bought a set of their alloy 4 pot calipers. I have been using them find for around 5 months when driving home my brakes became very soft and my brake warning light came on.
Upon inspection I found that one of my calipers was heavily leaking. After some testing stationary I found the leak to be coming from the join of the two halves. I took the caliper back to P&L and spoke with the guy hat ran the garage Paul? I think. He said he would have a look and let me know. After two weeks of hearing nothing I gave hem a call to be called a liar and that I had wasted 3 hours of his time and that there was nothing wrong with the caliper just that the nipple was leaking and he knew there was nothing wrong as he has never had one go wrong before. I asked for it to be returned which I was slapped with a £15 fee Thanks!
A few days went by when the caliper returned. I examined it to find it was bone dry like how I passed it to him and that the rusty split pins holding the pads in had not been disturbed which obviously menat they had not been taken apart. I rang back P&L to be fed all sorts that he had spent hours trying to find a fault and could not see a thing and it had been tested on one of their cars. Apalled by this I rang the manufacturers which is minisport and explained the situation.
They kindly collectd the caliper free of charge. Examined it to find the bridge seal was faulty and had split. They also noticed that the caliper had not been touched or taken apart by P&L. 2 days after this the caliper was returned free of charge again and is fully working again.
The caliper spent 2weeks with P&L which had nothing done to it and sent back to me at a cost whereas minisport had it for 4 days and was repaired with no costs.
I will be staying with Minisport for purchases, they may cost more but by god the service is a hell of a lot better!

I wouldnt usually comment on anything other then personal experience, but they do say a customer who has bad experiences tells on average 10-15 people, and i've been told many times.
shame really some of their cars look nice.

its the owner who you need to watch out for.... he has some very big agressive dogs.. who he likes to let out when a customer confronts him.
i'd be very very careful!

Just remember they are a business and deal with a large volume of orders.I have been there when they have had complaints by phone and i can tell you that some complaints are just bizarre and come from idiots. Some things are out of their control, just the other week after they had a collection from their courier company the lorry was involded in a fatal accident and they were contacted nearly a week later to be told that their goods were spread across the cariageway .Now they didn't know and their customers waiting for the parts didn't know.Bound to cause complaints from waiting customers but just goes to show that not everything is black and white.Liz is well aware of distance selling rules ,for a business it can mean people can buy anything they like, try it against their car and then send it back if they don't like it at the companies expense. This happens a lot more than you think.
anyway i think they are great but thats just my opinion.

So you think that because they don't like the law they are allowed to break it?
