hi whats the best way to remove cellulose paint from my front end?painted it this time last year and it reacted so has been like bitumen ever since looks ok from a distance but lean on it and you leave your print >_< started to sand it but cloggs up disc really quick and will be tricky to remove from all nuts and crannys by sanding just wondered if there was a easier way?

I put a new scuttle panel on my mini and it must have been coated with something because when we sprayed it about 5 minutes after the new paint cracked with a lot of black lines coming through. For me it was easy enough to completely rub down the affected part put another coat of primer then some coats of topcoat on. I wasnt using cellulose but acrylic.

linc's is pretty damp at the best of times let alone this time of year >_< no offence i have family there :D ,i'd reccomend waiting till the weather warms up untill respraying so you dont get a repeat of the current paint,as for removing it go to a paint supplier and get a 5 litre can of paint stripper (cheaper than nitromorse from b&q ect ) use that but you'd have to make sure all traces of it are gone before spraying and it can be very messy, remember to wear a good filtered mask too :( i got very high last time i used some.

other than that if the paint is still soft try a hot air gun on a low setting and use a scraper? might take a little time though

If its as soft as you say get your self a box of gloves, a bag of clean thick rag and a 5 litre tin of cheap cellulose thinner and scrub away.

Paint stripper can cause problems later on. Not sure why your paint never hardened though?

Are you sure it wasn't 2-pack paint you used to paint it with?

you could sandblast it if youve got a compressor that would get rid of whatever caused it to react in the first place as well
