right guys i have a question to see if its been done, i was going to buy a sheet of carbon fibre on ebay and cut it to size for the front door cards but after measuring the door cards discovered no one seems to sell sheet big enough.

so next idea fibreglass, outcome sod all!!!

aluminum then, found that at a good price too, if i make some door cards out of 0.5mm thick ali are they going to save any weight, or will they be heavier. am not particuarly sure myself so thought i'd ask you guys

You want 1mm thick and yes they will save weight

just out of interest how much weight do you think this will save also is there any pictures of this been done before i would not mind seeing if itlooks good i might do it

You want 1mm thick and yes they will save weight


why do i want 1mm thick? surely less is more :D

i have got a funny feeling i have seen these for sale before now to cut out all the hard work, i thin its from a company called carbon weasel

i thin you should go for carbon still to be honest cus aluminum door carbs can look naff if im honest
