do you have to balance cut and shut drive shafts ?

i think thy are all done by the machine shop that did them for me thy are all machined then welded on the lathe and i think thy balance them then

to be honest i dont think it really matters with the size of these shafts as thy are only 11.5 and 13 inches long i cant see it making that much vibration lol but we will see

I know I wouldn't want to be taking my chances. Its not so much the size or length of the drive shafts, but the rpm at which they'll be turning!

couple of updates on the frame the guys welder packed up so it has gone on hold for a few days til he recieves the part for it here are pics of the progress so far

here are some more update pics. i have been busy recently with the tubing of the rear arches and prep and painting the bulk head and cutting the gear linkage hole in the bulkhead

my frame is done now (thanks terry g) and yesterday was the first chance i had to get some pics of it








i also got rid of the rusty shell that was on my drive managed to flat pack it into a citroen berlingo to take it to the tip lol

its a maniflow limited edition one with 2 carbon cans that is ment to be centre exit but has been modified to mount at the side
