right time for a bit of an update i have got hold of a vauxhall corsa gsi for free and decided to put the engine into my mini .i no what your all thinking why not 2.0l 16v but i cant affored to insure one of them and the corsa has 85bhp as standard so with a few mods will easily have 100 and it has 5 speed gearbox a luxury most people can only dream of in a mini.

the subframe is in the process of being built by terry a friend of mine from mini club and should be ready for me in about 4 weeks time so hopefully that gives me a lil bit of time to sort the body out makin sure its totally solid aswell as sorting the wiring loom out.

will post pics of the engine out of the car soon

is that a 1.4? would make a nice little engine for a mini maybe a performance manifold and some cams would pep it up some more ...

sorry i ment a corsa sri its the 1.4 and is quick in a corsa so should be fun in a mini and there are plenty of mods availible as it uses same parts as the 1.6 head wise and cam wise

hi everyone i am just prepping my car for my 2.0l 8v 130 bhp cavi sri engine i have given a deposit to terry g for my subframe and conversion parts

and he will be making a start on that soon i have a complete engine loom and ecu and shafts lined up for the huge price of 50 squid with a low mialage of 75000 recently rebuilt.

i have stripped my subframe out and am starting to prep it for the frame by sorting out the small patches of rust on the front end mostly in the scuttle areas .

the alternator is mounts to the rear mount & front of the block

i will put some more pictures up soon
