The only problem i'm having is on tick over, when the ambient air temp goes up so dose tickover. Just today i have unscrewed tickover screw to drop the reves down because its getting warmer.
I might make up a new shorter one but at the mo i'm just enjoying driving it

I made up the inlet with the view of its what other makers are doin & i'm sure they have played about with different length inlet tracks. Maybe its just down to getting all mini's with servos to fit. Or getting fuel & air to atomise properly.

I'm sure no one could blame you for that, it looks awesome. Did the heater make a difference? Any ideas on the power you're making?

I did mean to put it on the rollers but havent as yet so have no idea on power
On this site i found what needles people are using & have set it up myself, also tried 3 different weighted carb springs on each needle & found what works. Still need to check on the rollers to see how its running flat out in top gear to be sure. It sits at 90mph ok & still wants to go!
coming up for a 1000 miles now & no troubles

not fitted and not sure if I'll even need it, but it should work.
I intend to put a switch in the circuit so I can choose to turn it on or off.
Its the RS PCT heater recommended on this topic.
I wasn't sure of the optimum position. In the end I decided to mount it on the centre pillar to heat the air rather than mounting it flat on the back panel to heat the carburettor. I would be grateful for people's views on this...
