Gah! :) Didn't realise it would be like this, lol

There wasn't any in the house when we bought it, so not sure if it had it originally or not ... but I like it - So there! :P

Looking at replacing the picture rails, too - I know that these were fitted at some point, so they'll be going back on! >_<

In other news, we got some dining chairs!! :P

Probably did if i remember from earlier photos looked a similar age to mine. Picture rails will be going back up in mine also, think it looks better with the high ceilings

Not got any photos of the door but will be doing a before and after shot so will stick them up bit plainer than yours but is correct style for the street compared with the only other original left >:(

I was very lucky with fireplaces for living room and bedroom picked up exactly the right size and style 10mins down the road at bargin price

Keep up the work!

PS whats the green colour and where from as might need to steal it :P

It's a Dulux ColourMix Colour ... Gooseberry Fool 3 .. If I remember rightly! :!:

It seems to have dried a little lighter ... but maybe when I put another coat on, it'll be OK again! S'nice though! :!:

Aaah man! Nice one on the fireplaces! Better for them to be local, as it's probably more like the originals! :!:

We were lucky with the bedroom fireplaces, we found 2 in Hereford that had come from a cottage, so bought them both - Which looks better as they look like they are original.

I've fallen in love with a fireplace on eBay .... :(

Yeaaahh - I had a look at Smeg fridges - We were going to get one, but read that there are build quality issues & the seals are awful! :)

Thanks! ;) I looooooooove my floor! :)

I wanted a retro smeg fridge for years finally got one five years ago and it was pants. We got rid when we re did our kitchen, last year, looking at your pics is like reliving that all over again. It looks amazing.

Aw, thanks! :)

I really liked the idea of a Smeg fridge ... afterall, if you need to have something in your kitchen that's so massive, then why not have something that looks good! But didn't like what I read!

What problem did you have with it?

That's every single paint colour decided and bought for the house! :o

That's only a small portion of it there .. there's more in the cellar! :)

Feels like a massive step forward though - Can't wait to get it on the walls now!
