Hehehe, as above! :P

But ... they're beech - not oak. But they look exactly the same, beech is hardwood, and we'll be treating them anyway. So we decided there wasn't much point going for oak and spent the saving on a rather extravagant cooker, instead, lol

We've not moved in >_<

The hot water tank is now out & the water cylinder is out. Even thought the weather is getting much better, you wouldn't believe how cold it is in the house!

I think we want to finish the heating system and get the messy stuff done, like the pipe-runs & the radiators all hung.

Hopefully then we can get some warmth back in to the place - and also, the cellar is a little damp still ... so would be good to give it a decent blast of heat.

Love checking in on your lovely house! What tiles are those in the kitchen? Look very similar to some form B&Q that we're thinking of using in our bathroom! Named Element or something? >_<

They're from Homebase - All it says on them is "Johnsons - Made in England" - lol >_<

They're 300 x 200 - And they're a single tile with 4 strips along them. They're a greyish, brownish, reddish colour!

As a guy, I know .... about cooking, but can you get a gas fan oven? My wife wanted a fan oven, something about cooking time???, and said she had to have gas hobs but electric ovens and grill! Made me buy a cooker called a Rangemaster, but hasn't improved her cooking..lol.

Gas cookers cook soooooooooooooooooooooo much better, IMO! ;)

And you have more control over the hob if they're gas! :)

Agreed, Gas oven all the way but gas is 70% less efficient! Especially with the hobs. All of the heat/flame is wasted into the atmosphere. It doesnt look as cool but the best tech for hobs is an induction hob! Id also love a pyrolytic oven! I was selling this stuff when I first got talking to you and Hanna! Thats the job I was off work from because I had broken my arm (I hated that job!)

You done anything with the cellar -aka S & M chamber yet?! ;)

I hate electric & induction - I suppose it's what you're used to? We've always had gas hobs - I think they're much better ... and I like fire! ;)

All I can say is WOW!! Looks great, I love the tap...mixture of modern with traditional butler's sink...great combination. How's the cellar doing? Will it need tanking or just a dry out before the wall bars, hooks and chains are fitted
