OK, well -

This is where we started after E_E left on Friday - he and K managed to get the window openings spot on & get the plasterboarding well on the way! :)

And some random photos!

(K would like to point out that those are not his wires running right next to the pipes - It's the old stuff!)

So, this weekend - We fitted both windows, complete with DPC and fixings - We also managed to begin sorting out the interior plasterboarding, ready for the plasterer to come along!!

Photos!

So reminds me of the Teapots' first house resto 20 years ago (only ours was smaller) ... will dig out an old photo album. You may yawn now.

We've just installed something very similar in my dad's mate's house, it's spherical like that, but with small round glass peices round the outside and about 15-20 small 20w bulbs on the inside, we fitted 2 of them in an extension he's had built side by side, both fed from dimmers and 3 wall mounted LED spots to compliment it. They look fantastic when they're on.

I think they were £600 or the pair though.

House is coming on great too ^_^

Cor! D'ya reckon someone would!?

However - I think I might reign in my mentality a little bit for now, lol :)

I've still got lots of wallpaper and paint stripping to do, lol :(

Maaaaark - They just look stunning! But I wouldn't be able to justify that sort of amount! (Or afford! :))

Thanks - really, really proud of it! :) And really proud of K and E_E for doing all this work!

Oh Bean, if you have high enough ceilings, you have to have a chandelier.

I'd love a huge gothic one, but unfortunately I can touch our ceilings standing in me stockinged feet, so we'd have to walk round it if we installed one! :)

Get ia spangley bespoke one when you can afford it, and get it reinforced so you can swing from it. :)

Lol, I'd looooove one - I really would! But I must have my sensible head on, lol :)

Our ceilings are pretty high - Not the highest for a victorian house, but higher than normal - So we should be OK!

My problem with chandeliers is that they drop alot, but not all of them have the width as well - I want something that won't look lost in the middle of the ceiling and branch outwards, too.

:)
